I know of a longbed fleetside Dodge truck for sale here in simi valley that has sat in the same driveway for at least the 13 years that I've been here. It has a for sale sign on it now so I know that the owner is motivated to sell. If anybody is interested in it I can get a number. Just send me a PM and let me know.

 

Love these trucks, I bought this one off Evlbay for a grand I think,a yr. before I flew out to Ca. to pick up in redding(also went to Viva before going north), (cuz. had it parked there) did a day and a half resto in his driveway, alt./f.pump/batt./tires/brakes misc. BS. and off into the wind on a 3K adventure back to western New York, Note I think this thing got about 9mpg. at 60mph, No way I wanted to go any faster, The goal was to try and get home w/out putting and eng. in it! Made it! Cheers

 

anyone know of a disc brake kit for these old dodges?

the reason Im asking is iv got an a100 van that I want to do a disc swap to and the d100 looks like they share the same strait axle?! at any rate. looks like one of you guys might know..

Here's mine, '70 w/68 grill.Took a bumper delete(?) piece from a '63 dump truck and made the front roll pan. Waiting on $$ to get the glass rubber and carpet. Slant 6/Auto/3.55 rear.

 

I bought this one recently, but couldn't bring myself to modify it so I just re-sold it.

70 D-100 Adventurer. Factory 383 AT/PS/PB/AC Originally Plum Crazy Purple.

It is a mix of years ..

The pie plate front was 1965

The big back window came in 1967

 

Yah, that one was kinda pieced together. The truck itself was a 70, but it had a 65-67 grill, hood and dashboard in it. Side marker lights were 68 Dodge, but not appropriate for a Sweptline.

BTW: Big back windows were optional even in the earlier years, you just don't see that many of them, it must have been expensive for pickup truck buyers.

The proper name for the Dodge is utiline ..

 

This is one of my favorite body styles for trucks. Clean classy lines, that still have the utility style.

I got a friend at work who has a nice solid tailgate for a 69, I wouldn't mind one of these dem ol dudes go everywhere trucks. P.m. me with questions about the tailgate suposed to been taken off with fiirst few months of trucks purchase.

 

ddldodgeman is that a glass fort end on your truck and if so where did you find it. i have been thinking about making a one pice front clip for my 66 d100 because i have not been able to find anything online

 

well here is my project that i got from jim sibley a few years ago. it is a 1966 d100 with a camaro sub frame, 400 sbc, 4 speed, with a pos 12 bolt.

My latest acquisition has a sweptline frame but the face of a power giant. I know it's not a pickup but the kids are growing so I need something a little roomier.

Does it fit in here? It seems to be a orphan of sorts.

 

Hello everyone, just got turned on to this site so guess im a NEWBIE. I got a 1970 D100 that I want to drop. What is the best way to accomplish this. I heard I could only bag the rear, the front would not drop all the way. Thanks

 

Here's a couple of pics of my 70. had it for years, I need to dig it out & jam an engine back in it so I can drive it.

 

if you still have the stock front end you can lower it by removing leafs from the springs my friend removed one leaf from each side of his 71 and dropped the front a couple of inches he said he thought it improved handeling a little bit
