    HAMB Members, The 2011 GASSER Reunion has a new 'nostalgia' home!

    June 10-12, 2011
    Beaver Springs Raceway
    Beaver Springs, PA

    After I get back from Thanksgiving in San Francisco, the website will have more info. The event will be run as it has for the last nine years. Less Rules, More Racing. Always open to great ideas from HAMB'ers.

    Looking forward to seeing HAMB'ers there! Support the H.A.M.B.!

    Is this the gasser race that was at Norwalk or the one at Thompson? JC

    Bookmarked this thread. Might have to change date for my planned US vacation (and explain to my wife she has to either come with me or explore Manhattan by herself)

  7. JC, yep same....and the best part is as far as I know, Thompson will still have their nostalgia reunion the week before!

  8. =======================================================

    We will likely hit Thompson,and skip the Beaver event..

    Bowling Green is the following weekend..

    This is shaping up to be a AWESOME event! The Period Correct AA/GS cars will be there in a "SHOOT-OUT" to determine the KING of AA/GS nostalgia racing! If your into straight axle BLOWN GASSERS..this event is a MUST ATTEND! In addition to the Nostalgia AA/GSer's there will be a full compliment of gas classes...including the East Coast Gassers and a bunch of other classes to fit in all most ANY gasser! More info. can be found at http://www.gassermagazine.com/

    I started the original and only real GASSER Reunion. First was at Thompson, later we moved to Norwalk and now we're at BEAVER SPRINGS DRAGWAY in Pennsylvania. Beaver Bob is way cool and the excitement from GASSERGUYS is amazing. See you there!

    Thanks for starting the Reunions. I went to all the Thompson ones and last years Norwalk event. Enjoyed them all, rain and all. IMO The meet belonged at Thompson. Norwalk was too new or too nice for the nostalgic effect that Thompson provided.
    Not happy it moved to Beaver but c'est la vie.

    I haven't been to Thompson or Norwalk, but I have been to Beaver Springs. Do not worry about the "nostalgia effect" being lost. Trust me, a trip from Cleveland would be worthwhile. Beaver Springs is a great place and Beaver Bob has a great attitude. This will be a fun event!

    Some pics from the Gasser Reunion. Thompson was a good track for this event but in my opinion Beaver Springs is even better. This track is the best place I've been for Nostalgia Drag Racing and Beaver Bob just loves the Nostalgia stuff. :D

    I see a good number of the standards are already in attendance and running down the track. Great.
