The roof insert mounts really easy. I just drilled holes through the insert and the wood, and used these cool threaded bolts that I got at the local hardware store. They are aluminum and have a button head on the top.

So I've blocked the entire body one time, and sprayed more lacquer primer. Its defiantly looking a lot better now.

Sorry guys for the long length between updates. Ive just been sanding when I get free time. But most of my evenings have been working on my motorcycle. Nor sure if its what you guys are into, but I love old vintage cafe racers. So i built a Bultaco. Here's what it turned out like:

You're obviously done with the '32 and have no use for it so I am going to do you a favor because I like ya. I'll take it off your hands and in return I'll give you a '32 Coupe to WORK on that'll be a a bit more of a challenge so that you don't get side tracked on bike anymore. Hehehe!!!

Ya know...I've had just about enough of you and your cool projects and all your talent!!! :p

I jes wish I could find some time to work on mine.

  20. Hey Chris, nothin wrong with a little variety! I love the old odball stuff! As an old Bultaco flat track racer I really appreciate those old Spanish bikes and I'm glad to see you keeping another one alive.

    Here's a Bultaco 360 Astro that I raced in the 70's.

And here's a Bultaco 250 Astro chassis that I turned into a real Hot Rod with a Maico 490 motor when I was a Maico dealer in the '80s.

Some alternatives to a tank bladder available in the UK, I've not looked at your thread for a while so here goes, there must be something similar available in the USA.

    http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Fuel_System/Fuel_Tank_Baffles/1545

These Aluminium pellets only displace 1.5% of your fuel tank capacity, may be a cost effective viable safety alternative to a bladder.

A little off topic here, I am trying to fit the right wheel/ tire combo to my dad's similarly chopped 32 tudor:

Could somebody tell me what width the rear wheels on this Rolling Bones Car are:

    Thanks Guys,

Sorry everyone that there hasn't been many updates lately. I took on a few side jobs that made me push back working on the sedan. But now most of them are done so I plan on getting back on block sanding the body. But even then there isn't much to take pictures of till its painted so bare with me :)

The plan is to get the body, doors, hood, grill, and roof painted. Then all thats left is finishing up the chassis which unfortunately takes more money which I don't have much of at the moment. 32' fords are expensive!!!!!
