Will Porter make a quiter (I know.... WTF..weenie, wuss...all that, whatever) Muffler? I needed the size of the porters but quiter, so had to go elsewhere.

I like loud enough to hear the engine, but quiet enough the wife doesnt bitch and can appreicate the vehicle.

No, its not shiney, it was raining... I still got a long way to go.

Bought a set at carlisle this past summer. Put them on the wifes 50 pontiac streamliner. Friggin perfect sound for the car right out of the box. I am taking my smithys off my 36 truck and putting porters on. By the way muffler location will change the tone of the exhaust as will tialpipe diameter.

This is all we have at the moment. It's from a 1951 brochure. But they are pretty much the same today!

I have a set on the way right now. I can wait to get my '65 Studebaker Cruiser together and listen to my new exhaust system. The car, being a '65, came stock with a McKinnon (Canadian GM) 283. We have kept that engine with a few mods. It will be a different kind of four door. I doubt many Studebaker Cruisers have Porters on them. It is fun to be a bit different!

  14. Love that Bonneville! I looked in your profile for an album but didn't see one. ;) I actually found your second video through YouTube, featuring some sexy dude modeling a red/black flannel coat. :D

I just bought a set of Porters cause of all the great videos and all the kind words.

  18. They are heavy duty construction. Hand crafted one at a time.
    Make retro kind of rumble.

  19. So, stainless and free flowing? I also go by that last name, so I've got to have me some for my '29 AA. You got any stickers for the window?

CHERRYBOMB will be attending both HRR and Louisville this year, so I might just do that. Oh wait I did stop by your booth in Louisville. I have my Pertronix and Thunderbird exhaust catalog right here.

when I put the proper duals back on the off topic town car, what was Ford thinking? half a dual exhaust? they will get porters, I want it to sound nice not annoying glasspack drone, but it's too quiet right now, you should be able to hear a 302

According to Porter Man, they are of a spiral/coil design and can be mounted either way. Its a no brainer dude! Even I can't mess it up
