Assuming everyone has a cell phone - If the police could get the cell phone company to get the exact location of the truck before it was stolen from the drivers phone, then get all the other cell phones within a 500 feet during the time it was stolen, it seems like they might be able to narrow a possible list of suspects.
Hate to hear this has happened again.

It's sickeninng to hear of yet another theft. If this keeps up we can't buy anything without asking for pedigree on the parts.
If they find the ones responable, they should do as suggested by the Pharaos "tie them to the car and drag them".
    Best of luck

  4. That is about the most practical idea out there so far. You guys know a hell of a lot more than I do, but is that car worth much of anything for parts? Every part is so modified that it fits that car only.
Been to Mexico a bunch of times and delivered to the port (L.A.) a bunch of times. It requires a lot more paperwork to get something into a container and pass Customs than it does to pass the "wave as you go by" Mexico border inspection.

Either way, this sucks and my heart goes out to anyone who lost their "baby".

Sad to hear but something is throwing up a red flag here. I'm pretty sure an '07 Duramax diesel has an immobilizer which basically means the truck wont start without the key which also means the thieves had to have gotten them. Red flag: how'd the thieves get the keys?

You can get keys to any vehicle by knowing the VIN# and a guy at a GM parts counter.

  7. As if these trucks never get stolen, happens all the time.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! My eyes watered up a little when I read this...unreal! What a beautiful work of art that car is, I can't imagine anyone parting it out...like stealing the mona lisa, painting it white, and selling the white canvas for $20. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you for the safe return of your baby. I hope a Hamber (wrench in hand) finds this guy before the cops do.

Wow! Going out & seeing a empty spot in driveway is as bad as seeing your dog ran over in front of your house! I'm sorry! To help other victims! Everytime you hear of a truck & trailer stolen with car! Its a enclosed trailer! I only tow open! I'm not towing because I don't want my car dirty its because of the slicks & low gears! I also hate not being able to see if car comes loose! A truck & enclosed trailer just blends in everwhere! I haul my willys anywhere & people call me & say where you going! Just my 2 cents & again sorry & hope you get your car & Truck & trailer back! Bill

  15. We need to catch a couple of these bastards, and torture them. After a few good publicized beating/killings we won't have too many more problems. The cops don't do shit! Sorry to hear of this. Makes my heart sink when I read of things like this. Hope she is returned soon! B

For sure something you'd never expect to happen, so crazy, it literally makes me feel sick. Catch them and make them disappear. Tommy guns I think are in order.

  26. It's not often that good new like this come down the road.
Glad to hear it's been recovered.
It would be nice to catch the thief and introduce him to a HAMB meet and beat!
