I like 'em chopped just a bit... 2 or 3" out of the post and slant the back window accordingly.
I think those coupes don't need to be chopped. Although they do look nice chopped they have very nice lines unchopped. I think a little negative rake (down in the rear) lowering and a nice paint job is all you need. Todd
Thought I would update: Im a little behind, we painted last october, and as of 8/2010 Im just now getting around to color sanding and polishing. Bare metal w/ whitewalls: Getting ready for paint: Time for color: Added Desoto bumpers
Paint and car look really nice, love the color. The black grille is killin it though. Need a chrome one on there, even ratty chrome would be better.
Heres some more updates: Im working on getting door panels, and other things that need upholstery built now. Ive got the headliner partially installed, (a real pain) Also I decided to go with a 51 grille for now untill I can afford to do something else, it looks way better than the black one for sure!!!!
Looking good, cant wait till i get mine on the road i am with everyone else when they say get it running or you will get burnt out fast. I am getting closer just got in some parts needing to install everything and i should e ready for the test drive. Just need to find some time to get everything done. I may start a tread sometime so people can give me inspiration!!!
Your Chevy is looking real cool, chrome and paint always make a cool cruiser look good. Please, put some fat white walls tires on it and your in the cruising lanes and looking good. CRUISER
Had white walls, but didnt like the raidal look, or the white wall delaminating from the tire, I'll be adding some bias plys, or some radials that look close when I can
lookin good... i like the 51 grill better... thats what i did too!... cant wait to see some bias tires on there!
Because its a business coupe. Didnt have a back seat Business coupes rear windows dont roll down Business coupes have smaller rear quarter windows The data plate says it is...
