Brutal! Let us know if you need help once the bastards are caught! Hope you have a homing signal on the trailer, what about 'on-sat' for the truck, can that be used to locate it? Good luck, oj

Damn-I just saw a couple of pics of the car the other day. I admired the stance and the Packard grille. Effin' thieves!

Tough break Troy! Thieves are getting bolder all the time. Makes me leery of taking a car to a overnight show. If you find them, administer a little "frontier" justice.

Posted it on the Stolen Hot Rod Alert page on Facebook. My heart sank when I opened this.... what an incredible car.

holy sheeit. Any GM car in that year likely has the OnStar system, even if it's not activated.....they can still turn it on and find out where it's located. My money is that they either headed straight for the border or to a shipping container down in Long Beach. I used to live over in Burbank, about a quarter mile from those cross streets. I don't ever remember crap like that happening....ppl are getting ballsy.

That turns my stomach man. There's nowhere you can take that car where someone won't speak up in it. Best of luck man.

That car is totally distinctive and unique, what the fuck do thieves DO with something like that? Maybe I should be more careful with my '50... I guess I just expect thieves to be more practical than that and only steal things with an established demand and value that are easy to change and resell. Weird. I feel bad for Bugs...

That is exactly what I said when I saw the car.

Sad to say, but start looking for pieces of that car being sold. there is no way anyone could try and sell that car without it being recognized.

I hope the car gets returned.

It will stay intact and go out of the country to a collector that probably put the order out for it. They think this is what happend to the car built by Rad Rides a few years ago.

Pure speculation but this is what they think happened to the Rides By Troy car, a drug lord in a third world country put an order out for it.

    WOW!!!! UN-EFFING-BELIEVABLE....

I'd hope a car like that can't hide for long. Best of luck in its recovery. Eyes peeled.

That's what I was thinking. There's no way you can steal a car like that and think your going to be able to enjoy it, or part it out, or do pretty much anything with it. That's a f'in pro job for sure.

The shitbag south of the border drug dealer theft for pre-order theory is the only thing that makes sense here. Holy Hell what a f-ing nightmare.

For all the good that it does, my eyes are peeled and my heart breaks for you, man.

Shit. Can we start hangin' people horse thief style again? No trial, no jury, just a rope and a sturdy branch. I don't want to hear any bullshit liberal touchy-feely naysayer bullshit about "hard home life" and "bad influences" and "rock in a hard place" - there's no excuse for that. None.
