Model T based racing car with what appears to be a BB Rajo overhead with a Winfield carburetor. I believe it has a front mounted magneto and what appears to be an oil pump driven off of the back of the racing water pump which is located behind the breather......Can anyone identiy the car and driver??

Great looking RAJO T Dirt Car! Note the reversed T steering wheel, all the load is on the 4 screws holding the rim to the spider. Can't say thatr I've ever seen a Winfield mounted sideways to the engine before. Paint job looks somewhat like the Pop Green cars from New Jersey.

#70 the "Berlinetta" by Touring, placed first overall,
in spite of having only a 2 liter motor.
#73 the "Rennlimousine" was Prof. Kamm's design on same chassis, went DNF

He's right Keith..... take your time and do all the therapy they may want you to do. I've been thru it twice....I broke one knee and had it pinned back together...the other had a bearing job but they are both kinda OK now......

These kids will cheer you up......

Here is a neat photo that Keith posted over on the Vintage Photo thread. It is signed by Stubby Stubblefield. He was killed in a practice crash for the 1935 Indy 500.

I think the tow car might be a 1928-29 Auburn......

This is the caption that was with the photo..........

Doc Allen manning the entrants gate
Donn Allen's dad was known as Doc Allen. He was a Dentist. Here he is helping Stubby Stubblefield get his car onto the race track. The Pith helmet he is wearing was signed by all the drivers of the day. Donn Allen later donated it. Doc Allen was very active in racing. He passed away Jan. 1, 1937, after a brief 3 day illness.
