First group I joined, dustergeorge, mopargeorge, and chevyIIgeorge were already taken. I just kept going through the cars I owned till I hit one that was available.

It is a nickname giving to me when I was a part puller at the yard I work at. I was always holding the hood open while my boss did all the work. Now I am the desk guy.

This was my Dad's nickname back when I was very young. Dad worked in a foundry and he drove the old model t truck with slag in it away from the plant. He drove it too fast (brakes weren't good even if they worked) so they painted on the truck door "HotRodHarry". Since Dad's been gone almost 25 years, I borrowed it and added 2 as in #2.

Fool that I am, I let my neighbor talk me into buying her Grandfather's 48 S11 DeSoto 4 door sedan (he bought it new). Like so many others over the years, DeSoto became an orphan brand in the industry.

my name comes from my downhill mountain bike racing days.... I rode a cannondale Gemini, that had a super loud rear hub, sounded like 9000 crickets that were pissed off. Jiminy Cricket is a pretty popular cricket so the guys I rode with combined my bike and a famous cricket and got Geminisnickets, shortened to Gsnickets. that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

My dad had a 47 Chevy called Alley Oop so I used that name. He died a few years ago. Someday I'll build a tribute to his 47 coupe. For now I'll work on my 55 F100 which is another vehicle he owned..same color too.:D
