Been searching with no luck so far...anyone make replacement wide 5 hubcap clips? Or does someone have a good description of fabbing your own (my wheels are missing all clips)?

Will the early VW ones work? Those are pretty easy to get.

Will any of these work or possibly be adapted?

Plus, type "hub cap clips" on ebay motors and stuff appears that might be useful or adaptive.

I am in the same boat, I am missing clips too. I was planning simply to make my own. I'm not 100% sure the VW clips will hold the ford cap in the same manner at the VW cap, or I may be wrong.
Luckily for me I have a few left on my wheels as an example unlike oldskoolflyer above. Charlie's picture should be helpful to you.

all i need is the measurements of the clip....overall length and the measurements (roughly) between the bends and the angles from either top to bottom or bottom to top if someone is that bored. Or one in my christmas stocking would be great too

How many do you need? I can drill the rivets of some wheels i have and send you some. I was going to run wide5 without any hubcaps on a modified.

  8. You two guys should swap wheels.

Ive got two 15's and two 16's.....was plannin on using the 15's in back. In all seriousness....I need 4 wheels worth....or at least 2 or 3 clips to make sure I have a good average on measurements. How much ya want for them? You got any extra wide 5's

I've got the same problem with the clips.

As popular as wide 5's are these days, I'm kinda surprised nobody is making reproduction wheels or, even more importantly, drums yet. However, I guess the rarity only increases the cool factor.

well, i got 8 wheels all 16" (didn't know they made a 15"); 2 of them have light rust, 3 have moderate rust and the other 3 are rusty (all will cleanup). Of the 8 wheels, one of them has 1 broken clip.
