Hahaha Harms Way, I knew some one would call me out on that. And as for the beverage of choice is anything that contains alcohol.

First off, Happy Birthday to the USMC. Had the privilege to serve with many Marines in my time. One of my closest friends growing up was a Marine. Cpl. William I. Salazar. You're forever in our thoughts brother. May the lord bless and keep you. Fair winds and following seas.

  11. I was kind of wondering that myself.

A large thank you to all men of honor, you are the price of freedom.

Semper Fi Mac! Happy Birthday to all those past and present!
Happy Veterans day to all the others that served!

    Some say freedom is free,
    but I tend to disagree.
    Some say freedom is won,
through the barrel of a gun.
    My buddies gave thier lives,
so that you could have your rights.
On the night my buddies left,
the air was cold, the ground was wet.
They put them on a silver jet.
    It was a night I won't forget.
They say that freedom is free
    But I tend to disagree!

Not a big deal. At that time all the kids got drafted or joined. I thought. Learned about deferments later. 19700262 Spec4 R. Fox 41st Signal Battalion 1961-62 Fort Lewis Wash.
