America designed the Fin's, what is "your" favorite design?

Hi Guys,

Like to see pictures of Fins and wings and cool artistic designs made out of them , people that are inspired by them ( I am ) , what do you have.....What have you seen or know about them.
Thought this could be an interesting topic.
American Fifties cars have the name but In europe they also had finned or winged super cars here the B.A.T from Italy.

1958 Custom Rodder Mag artical about fins, the latest custom craze. And some noteworthy examples I have seen.

 

About the only fin I even came close to liking was on the 57 Chevy.

 

......Gotta be the 1959 Caddy......"talk about long and lean.....she was designed to ride".........kinda sounds like my girlfiend too..

I don't have pics, but the square birds ( 58,59,60 ) were factory customs and some of my favorites......

 

My all time favorite...the D Type Jag.

 

I'd have to say 59-60 Cadillacs. Back in the day the ultimate American car to have.

 

I'd say '59 Impala and '59 Bonneville to a lesser part

 

For me it's the 59-60 buicks. Fins front and rear!

Pretty much any Mopar fins are my favorite.

 

I like them all, but prefer them a little subdued... fins that is. Gary

 

58 cadillacs had some nice ones too.

 

'57, 58 Chrysler De Soto and '59 El Camino for me - but then I have one and had the other so maybe I'm biased....

60 dodge, 61 Plymouth. Not over the top but unique.

 

Even some trucks had 'em.
