30 Model A Coupe I built. Some of the things are Kelsey Hayes Wheels, Columbia Deluxe tires, A motor, balanced crank, winfield head, downdraft stromberg, 39 tranny, and lots more! Unfortunately i had to sell due to the economy and owning my own business.

But good news! I scored another really nice coupe body. So here we go again!

One of the pics is my new coupe body.

Yes, I agree. I am from the Chicago Land area and have yet to find out what has happened to "her". Back in 1961 I had contacted the owner Howard Mitchell and he was kind enough to reply. This coupe had more chrome on it than you could imagine. For example, like under all of the fenders, all chrome. Not even to mention all of the "pipeing" on that Lincoln engine. I have called and called and have yet to find the answer.

  8. I realize it's a little too tall for some people's taste, but that's why I like DIFFERENT.

  10. This is my buddy Glenn's Model A sedan.
It was built by a deceased HAMB member from Minnesota a few years ago. His wife sold it to some flipper in N.Y. and from there Glenn became it's present caretaker.

The workmanship is extraordinary. It's powered by a 455 Pontiac with a totally off the wall intake system, glow in the dark pearl white engine and other painted accents, tall skinny bias plys, all the right stuff to float my boat.

I don't think Glenn has put over 100 miles on it in the 2 years he's owned it.

I'd love more than anything else to be the next caretaker in line for this gem!
IT IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MODEL A.

What a shame. I remember looking at this car at the World of Wheels in MN when the car was first built. Coincidentally Brian Setzer and I admired it there together.

We still have both cars, both are not together simce I wanted to go faster in Drag racing. Dad let me use his body, well I learned the lesson that I should have built an other car instead of swapping bodies. That is a long long story the short way.
