I've been waiting to be able to post this up for some time. I had to wait 'til the show was over before letting the cat out of the bag:
I was approached to do a more "classic" design (by classic, I mean an approach you've seen before) There are a lot of old water slide decals out there of "powered by plymouth, ford, chevy, mopar, etc." This was my own skew on the same old wheel and tire for Manifolds on Main in Irving Texas. The coolest part about this is, not only was it used on an event shirt, but also as the participant award.

The design was given to a jeweler to create a 1.75" wheel with a bronze base for all who participated in the event. I don't have to often think in 3D any more with my work, but this one I did again (funny how out of practice I've become!) Here is the breakdown of how the layers worked out that was sent along to be machined out.

At any rate, I'm stoked! I love to see this stuff jump off the screen and become a physical object. My work takes on a whole new meaning when it becomes a product to me. I love to see designs pan out.

    Happy Halloween!

It's not real related but every year we have a pumpkin carving contest at work. So this is my latest creation.

If you care to check it out here are all the pumpkins http://edjedesigns.com/halloween.html and the Galloping Hessian could use some support :) I'm losing to the cow.

    Thanks

These are T-shirts I just had made with the help of a buddy of mine. He saw my black & white drawing that I posted a couple weeks back and fronted the dough to get them made. Good to have friends that love Hot Rod Art.

    Keven,

    You did an excellent job!

We liked the design so much it ended up on the shirt, coloring book, banner & trading cards.

    Great Stuff.

    Hidden really cool "sale" concept.

Here's a repost from several weeks ago, but this is the art I did for the back of the tee shirts for Manifolds on Main. Keven's logo and award design is so cool and looks great on the front of the tees. I too, am a big fan of Kev's work! Thanks again, Bart and Ken for the opportunity to work with you!

Thanks guys for the compliments! I know my artwork as few and far between over the last few months. Always feels good to post new stuff.

widewhitewalls, love the "Powered By" inspired piece. Works awesome on both the shirt design and the bronze piece.

Reminds me of a piece I done for a customer that he ended up not using.

I haven't contributed to the Friday art show for years!!
Here's a skate deck I did recently. I'm donating it to an auction benefitting pro skater Tobias Albert who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Hopefully it will help raise some money for his medical bills.
