Thanks for the kind words. I've been lucky in life with my choices of cars and how I do them. They're not everyone's cup of tea but that's what makes the world go 'round. I believe you and I are buddies on HUB Garage as well. I admire your work also........Mike

I think the only thing I would change is the name on the title.

  27. I think the 1% might be finished by now.. He's replacing the seats upholstery.

Wow! Nads' A/C HTR system, is nothing like yours. I'm curious how many htr options there are for '59.

Jeffrey, the problem is with dented ones is that they're not aluminum or stainless so you need to have them re-chromed after removing the dents. The bigger problem is when you have dents on the cross flagged face, they're impossible to repair without pecking out and grinding out the indented flags.I'd already tried several sets of caps from eBay but they could not be saved. Luckily the sellers took them back and they only cost me postage. They are plentiful at the $45.00 figure because they're junk. eBay photos hide a lot. Around here it's not cost effective to bump them out then have them re-chromed and re-painted. I was lucky enough to find N.O.S. ones.
