Art & Inspiration We got a new shop sign

I had my Freind Tony Dumbrowski from Tonys signs paint a new sign for my shop 2ft tall 16 ft long all hand painted with original artwork what ya think??? If you have a pic of yours lets see it................

No ! Its the Hot Rod display that is lighted nights so customers can veiw the cars when we are closed. After years of theft we found this to be a great solution to the theft problems. Now if we could just catch the S.O.B. that keeps stealing the gas out of our company trucks.......

 

It's a pretty good looking sign. I like it all except for the font on "Hot Rods." It sort of looks generic to me, but it's still a great looking sign!

Generic is good in my opinion. All too often I see people getting artsy fartsy with the font to the point you can't read the damn thing. There's a local body shop called Royal that I pass every day. And I laugh to myself because unless you're right up to it, it looks like it says Rosa. Same with Car Club jackets that need to be stared at for 30 seconds before you can tell what it says. The sign looks fine

 

Jeez I thought the HOT ROD part looks a lot like it came off a car HR magazine cover in the 50's at least thats what I asked for...........

A hand painted sign is a rare bird these days, very nice. The stickered trailer looks just fine, and those puppys are very durable. ~Sololobo~
