Took the seats back out for base/clear treatment to the back side panels. Also the rear pan got treated as well.

Ended up ripping out the old Harrison radiator for a US RADIATOR 4 ROW and mating it with a electric Black Magic Xtreme puller fan.

    Absolute COOL thread/work/car!!

  4. Very nice Chevy wagon...but I have to ask you one question...

You left the "patina" look (translated - NEEDS PAINT!) on the outside, but you detailed the new engine, put a brand new interior in it, polished the exterior trim, and put some nice mods on the car. Why didn't you paint the wagon??? Looks like you are going for two totally separate looks with this Chevy.

Added two more switches to the billet dash, the one on the left is for the Black Magic Electric Fan, and the one on the right is for Mood Lighting. :crazy

Put the cherry on top of my interior with some correct Chevrolet Accessory floor mats.

7 months start to finish on Old Gold. I'm pleased with the outcome of my build and I hope you all enjoy too.

Thank you! Beautiful Bubbletop in your avatar. :)

Outside the car is maturity/originality, yet custom. Besides, anyone can paint a car or truck, but to have mother nature take her course and let her do her thing to original paint is priceless in my book. And yes, the inside factory restored to the bone with subtle custom touches. :D:D:D It's an awesome thing! Well, at least I think so!

Out of curiosity, will you be putting in some vintage/NOS/vintage style seat belts?

Man that a great looking car, but im going to be the asshole to scream about the big wheels. I liked the steels so much better!!! Im a fan of wires or supremes as well, but more for a glossy painted ride, you gotta put those steels back on homie!

Beautiful wagon, nice work. I agree that the steel wheels looked better, but to each their own.

Nice to see the inside work, esp the far rear seat.

My Dad had a 64, and the rear seats were only up for family vacations. We did the M&D and 4 kids in the back of a wagon cross country trips.

Now that is the way they should be built! Fantastic.
Steel wheels are completely blah. The others make that car pop!! Beautiful!
