1949 Ford Crash,Long Beach,Yesterday?

I just saw that there was a 1949 Shoebox that crashed into a Semi,Sunday night,in Long Beach. Two people involved,went to the hospital.
Anybody know who it might have been? The story said they were coming from a show.
I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I know a lot of guys with Shoebox Fords,here in SoCal,so I was concerned. I was hoping it wasn't GassersGarage and his wife,but the article said DUI might be the case. He's a cop,so I really doubt it was them...

The car in the photo I posted, from Masterson Kustom, was the car I saw wrecked on the news. Pretty much what Bob posted was what they said in the story.

 

I saw it on the fox 11 news this morning also, I couldn't find anything on it either.

They had the Swap Meet at Veterans Stadium- not a car show.

 

And the swap is pretty much done by noon, so I'd say they had headed somewhere else after the swap and if the alleged DUI was involved that time frame would make sense.

 

OK what swap meet goes till 11pm on a sunday??

 

I pray that they are ok.... I hate to hear the news but they need our prayers.

That is hard to look at! Tangled with a bob-tail last year, totalled my truck- no damage to the big truck just like this one. Crazy how that works.

 

That's a bad one for sure, I hope they come thru this OK. That steering wheel is really twisted, seat belts?
