I like it! Those rims are a really great choice. I knowit is probably a ways off but what did you have planned for color?
That style Lincolns look absolutely awesome chopped, provided You are able to work the original back window and stainless back into it.

Hey, This is where I ask I hope you've got one hell of a good glass guy! The biggest problem with chopping mid-fifties iron is the dog legged, vertical windshields. You can move those A Posts anywhere you want, it's getting the glass to conform to that shape that's like turning water to wine! I once chopped a '56 Ford pick up (same shaped windshield as your Lincoln, vertical sides & compound curves) the guy broke three windshield cutting them before he got it correct. I wouldn't throw out any of the pieces you cut from the pillars jus yet. You may have to add metal to make the glass work. Good luck '' Meanwhyle, back aboard The Tainted Pork "
Yeah, hope you got a good glass guy! Do your self a favor for sure and get the glass cut and fitted NOW before you go any farther. Lot easier to bend metal to fit glass then the other way around! One of our glass guys has a 57 Chevy PU in his shop right now. These guys chopped it, finished the bodywork and painted it in a pearl/ candy without even considering IF the windshield would fit. Of course it won't without moving the pinchwelds around, now the paint/ bodywork is all wasted. Guess they thought the glass guy would be able to work majic!
Looks good so far, what have you got figured out to do with the windshield? I took the liberty of trimming the photos so we could see the car. I wouldn't even want to be along on the trip to the glass shop though. The car does look mean
How do you attach the roof back to the body? I didn't see anything welded up, and I could never figure out how they moved the posts around on one of these because of glass constraints.
Like everyone said, good luck with the glass! A friend of mine has a '56 Lincoln that he originally chopped and had the glass cut to fit. At first he had three windhields but after the first two broke he decided to sink the stock front and rear glass. And trying to find a new replacement windshield that shows up in one piece, well that's another story... Good Luck! Tom - Glass_Packs
