Well I was able to set my 48 Thames back down on all 4 legs today. Front and rear suspension are all pretty well buttoned up and engine and trans are mounted etc. I got the stance right on in my opinion, and it should ride and handle well. I still have some minor welds to finish and clean up on the bottom side of the frame, and it will all come apart again to paint etc. Next i need to start squaring up the body, aligning the doors etc, then firewall and floors. Then steeing and supports etc. Still a long road ahead, but I am starting to see real progress and am really getting pumped up. Still hoping to drive it by spring 2011 or early summer. Whatcha guys think?? Later, Rusty.

I'm jealous of those skinny Ansen sprints in the front! Been looking for a set for my Hillman Husky, looking good!

This is killer. What's better than a panel? Nothing. Can't wait to see this one get done.

I'm putting the stock front sheetmetal back on, and using it as it was intended so no tilt front. As for the rear panel. My original was pretty banged up so I fabbed up this new one and I was going to put the cut out in it, but It will help hide my gas tank better this way. I plan to work on that rear panel and build some new stronger rocker panels for it today. Later, Rusty.

That looks sweet! Looks like a hotrod and not traditional. Im surprised nobody has chimed in thier .02 cents besides me on that one. I dont care for traditional much myself.
