OK Boys and Girls, it's that time again and if you don't mind steppin' back in time with Dirt Pits, Standing Room only and a "Loose" track, we have the event for you! We have had only a few who couldn't wait to get back to the gate and the 21st century:D Rocky

Actually.......I think you meant to say "We have had only a few who couldn't wait to get back to the gate and the 21st century", but you are a young kid who probably thinks of that time as "ancient history".:p

    We'll be there.

Congratulations on your runway, or is it runaway success.

I saw the nice article in Hot Rod Redux, or whatever it is and was pleasantly surprised to find a several page spread on your race.

It looked very, very much as it did back then...but (you knew a but was coming...didn't you?).

There are a group of young females pictured throughout the magazine that I must have wiped completely out of my memory bank.

They are almost uniformly buxom young women dressed in period-correct, beautiful clothing from the 1940s.

On their way through the time/space/continuum these young girls apparently passed through a time warp that took them into some drunken tattoo parlors.

The net result is a gorgeous creature who never really existed.

To wit: A WW2, 1949 dressed, 19950s hot rod loving, tattooed gal who manages most of the time to keep her knees together but is helpless to control her ankles which flare out at provocative angles. Furthermore, these beauties seem irresistibly drawn to Rat Rods and when near one feel the need to strike a glamorous pose.

Did I miss these girls when I passed through the 50s and 60s? Or wait...

There's a Texas Mental Health Van in my driveway...three men are getting out... they are coming to my front door...this may be the last you hear from....

"Stormy" Bird's "Revelation" will be there to stripe black lines on that fresh asphalt. Completely refurbished and looking good with new drivers cards. Drop by and say howdy, Ken Lee , Full Throttle Richard and at least 6 aspiring BUGS will be making the tow up from Reseda. Race safe and have a great time !!

Another awesome day at the drags courtesy of World Famous Drag Racing Promotor Rocky Phillips! Can anyone Photoshop Don Kings hair onto Rocky head? Perfect weather, a new track and great racing. Another homerun (and thanks for taking care of Johnnie!).

Here's a few quick cockpit shots of the locals. HA/GR locals anyway.

Carl, I thought you might appreciate these in case no one else was able to grab any pics for you. At least not from this side of the track.

Here's a pic of your Eagle Field Inargural C/GD Champ Lee Phillips. But wait, what's this?!? Hot off the presses, after a tech teardown it's found that the Phillips C/GD dragster exceeded max CID. Aaww, too bad:(

I thought I had a pic of the two of you running but I don't. Pretty solid performance for a first outting. I'm sure Tim will square things up with a quick engine change.
