They look great but do look a bit thin for that model of car. Did you need to gain leg and head room or ?

Thats the way I wanted them, cant fit under the steering wheel otherwise, also makes way more room in the car.

I used the foam out of my work truck, just made a platform for it to sit on and use the original front seat.

Used the entire back seat out of another one of our work trucks to make the back seat (it was a business coupe didnt have one )

Just had to section it down.

Im on a pretty tight budget, so im having to come up with some creative ways of doing things.

You're a brave man to choose that color. Looks nice though.
    The seat bottoms look understuffed.

    Why...???

It's a great color...much better than flat blak, or any other non-shiny color.

Have you ever had an all white interior? They are a real bitch to keep clean.

Beautiful seats. Don't wear new denim jeans in there.

Yep, several...but of course, I don't climb into them with dirty, greasy jeans, or clothes (now before you think I'm implying anything, I'm not), and if you work to keep it clean, it'll stay nice and white.

Besides, I thot "Mike51Merc" was talking about the body color...not the interior color...

A light colored interior opens the car...a dark interior closes up a car...and a dark interior is miserably hot in the summer...same hold true for an outside color...

Yeah, I definaltely didnt want black in Texas in the summer, I also didnt want to try to match the paint, so I chose white, I wanted to open up the interior too.

Hopefully it wont be too hard to clean, I guess well see, Its my first hot rod so I dont know any better yet:D

I have only had one car with an all white interior. It was an SS convert back in the 60's. I remember it getting dirty wearing freshly washed slacks and driving a couple hundred miles on a trip. The car had been cleaned top to bottom before we left and the seat was grungy looking when I got there. I do agree about a lighter color opening the interior

Nice threads. Awhile back a long while back actually... There was a thread on Mexico shops doing upholstery. Nice nice stuff for cheap! I'll find the thread.
