Art & Inspiration ***PARTS WITH APPEAL.....James Gang Edition!!!!***

I couple months ago my son Memphis caught an infection due to an irregularity in his bladder which led him to a stay in the Pediatric ICU. Scariest time in my life for sure but the well wishes and prayers that many of you had sent me really lifted my spirits and helped me get through it. I'm pleased to say that he's doing great and is healthy and happy. He's going to need another surgery but that's down the road and should not be at all as serious as what he went through this far.


So we really like pictures and wanted to capture Memphis' life, and since he's only young once and is willing to do these pictures I wanted to do them with the stuff I'm into. I figure it'll also help form getting the thread shit down since it's sort of on topic haha!!!

I never thought I'd be the type to start a thread like this until I became a father and the pride that I have for this boy is practically exploding out of me. So here's my son Memphis James.

Thanks guys!!! I still can't believe I had a hand in making this little guy. We have it set up so that we had the Maternity pics, 3weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and a year so far so I'll definitely keep updating this thread. Then couple that with all the ones that we ourselves will be taking and we should have pretty much his first year documented.

He should be at Good-Guys Southeast nationals so I'll have pics there too!

Don't blink, JJ! I did and now my oldest is in her first year of college and my youngest has her learner's permit!

I can't believe how much he has grown in just the 12 weeks he's been here. Changes so much!!! When he's ready for those key's hopefully I'll have a '54 Chevy ready for him to drive.....but let's not get a head of ourselves hahah!!! For now I have bouncies and tummy time!!!

 

HAHA. The best. Just don’t send him out to get chromed. My sons are 21 and 16. The two greatest young men I know. And you gotta love any woman who goes barefoot in the garage. Slim

I think the barefoot Mama pics in the garage are my favorite. Kind of sentimental and sexy at the same time. Really good stuff.

Remember, the years fly by..........reminds me of my daughters' pictures I took when they were delivered via C-section. Even though they are grown women now, they still cherish those pictures. Your son will cherish your pictures too.
