And some people think rat rods are ugly? Holy crap!

  6. FYI: Luigi Colani has been on the cutting edge of design for nearly 40 years....own a bio-shaped LSR camera? Colani designed the first ones for Canon...see 18-wheelers going down the road with very aero shapes, spats, airfoils etc? Colani did the first research into that. He's eccentric and a relentless self-promoter but no one can deny he is on the cutting edge.

Well personally I think that thing is fugly, "cutting edge" or not. But have fun building it we all have different tastes. Im sure plenty of stuff I like others find hideous LOL

  8. Looks like he designed a bunch of very good looking cars as well as the odd ones.

what steers this creation... a single front wheel?...good save...NO ONE would believe it...quite bizarre

  10. I'm so interested in this sensationally odd beast. I would like to see this thing in person on day just to understand how things operate.

Can you post some more pics of the car, maybe some of the interior and steering?

    Was it in Indiana?

You know, it's only a little weirder than recent Bonneville streamliners.
Perhaps a terrifying convergence of inspired/crazed/drugged/extraterrestrial art and logical mechanical evolution?

We found it in Indiana. Not sure how it got here. We are doing research and are supposed to tlak to the designer/builder Luigi Colani next week. We were sent a picture of him actually building/sculpting the car.

Far out! The front view really clears up alot. Man, it looks way too confortable. I'd be a sleep in 10 minutes, especially with the whine of the V12 behind me! Unless the strain of "mind steering" it keeps you alert.

The build pict looks like he did it just like Roth, with spitwads and plaster.

Looking forward to seeing it get brought back to life.

The look is perhaps an aquired taste but just screams of the 70's outlook toward the future. Overall I like it a bunch. Not so much for it's looks, more for what it was and still is. Sounds a bit screwy and I can't quite put words to it and in all reality I'll bet that was the idea. I think of those movies like the original "Rollerball" and that movie where people went in to get killed when they hit a certain age. That was just kool shit back then, and now you have the real thing. I'd bet it has way more value to Europe than the US but I think it's bitchin. It really needs to be done and toured around all the shows. Congrats bro.
