    GaryC.

    Gone in 6 seconds.
Six seconds from the end of an Ebay auction
I was the winning bidder... and then ... poof!

Well; here's how it might have looked finished.

A little Photoshop fun with Billy Gibbons, (of ZZ Top) his car, the Eliminator and myself.

Alright, I finally have something on topic, I was commissioned to paint this for a close friend of Noel Black,(The driver of the Motion1) A very fun project to be asked to do. A little history in this one. There are a few posts on the HAMB for more info if you dont know about it. Letter rip guys..

I don't know if Stanley Mouse ever checks out the FAS but if he does, let me just say right out that this is a total rip off of his work. Or rather I should say, this is a scratchboard tribute to a total original - an artist who transcended monsters and cars and made an impact on a generation of music and art culture. Although wouldn't it be cool if Mouse did post here on Fridays? Risking a cease and desist letter, I'd like to think this is the next best thing.

Heres my latest scratchboard. It was a commission job from a recent car show. Sorry for the bad picture.

Great show guys! Nice designs Ger, I especially like the roadster design :)

Below is a photo I took at this years hillclimb at the Devils Peak during A-Bombers Old Style Weekend. I can still taste the dust and stones :)

Wow, great stuff guys!! I will have to get one of those cards from Shawn. He lives out my way. Great work. Thanks for a another good start Gary, and I love the cowtown shop. I'll try to sneak a couple in here before the rest of the great stuff starts flooding in. Here are a couple I did for a wagon article.

You should do a feature article on Gus Maanum's vintage hot rod drawings sometime for Kustomrama...

All I got today is this '66 Dart. The car was redone in "Overhauling" fashion for a young man battling cancer. It was a great project to be involved in!

Here is a trophy the kids and I made for the Magnolia Madness Show. It was made out of the parts of vintage trophys from Magnolia Dragsrtip in the late 50's and early 60's.
