awesome story... glad to see it rise again. Maybe take a look at flamedabone's merc ressurection thread.

well I guess when you have 400+ ft lbs of torque you don't need to rod them much.:D

What color was it? If it turns out to be the same car, I'll tell you where it's sitting. I've been trying to get it and another one from the same guy but it's kind of up in the air right now. Would be awesome to find out the history of that car and maybe see it restored.

  4. Dad's was originally a medium blue...although it didn't last that way long. He was in an accident the first few days he owned it and started adding primer as he fixed/added stuff. I think he also changed out the tail lights to something Buick. I'll see him later today and ask him more details and pm you. Be kinda cool to find out it still existed.

Whoah, who is Cross Canada? They seem to have some parts listed there that other vendors don't/haven't had. The wheel well etc.

  10. Any updates? Yeah, I know, it's been friggin' cold...but it would be cool to see this one run again without a rebuild, that is if the block is OK.

No updates, it's home safe in my parking lot but I have a lot of other projects to work through before I mess with this one. I'm going to let it sit for a while and collect parts for it for some time in the future.

I am hoping to get the engine running, and this summer I'd at least like to get the wheels freed up and put some tires on it that will hold air to roll it around.

It may be a cool find but this dude hasn't posted any updates since 02/01/2009. Looks like he's only moved it from one cemetary to another. Shame on you.

I hope I'm wrong.....won't be the first time.

He's had 2 years to build now, there must be some progress right? Let's face it, posting only takes a minute......

  30. Obviously you don't know who you're talking about.
