I am not really even into bikes myself, but as I was leaving at the end of the day on Sat., I caught this guy firing it up and taking off. I have to say, it has a really, really nice sound to it, super sweet.

right on dude. i actually found out it's a 59 because it had a different front end than gambino's tribute car but the body lines are pretty much dead on. but hell yea, this is a fucking liberal use of steel right here. they used it up like it was gonna rot! :p I like the look of slanty eyed cars like this one and the 59 buick. i wish more people flip them out more.

  12. yeah the chysler imperial had some wicked cat's eye glasses lookin' front end on it i think....they are cool. I think they make neat Weesner painting type customs....

The US population in 1959 was around 178 million, today it's 308 million. We could all drive giant cars like that AND clean up the environment, AND have plenty of fuel to go around, if we had the sense to do what China has done and control our population growth. OK, I'm off my soapbox.

To those wondering about the Kirby car, it is real. John at Big M Auto in Williams, CA found the car about 10 years ago in a S. Sac tow yard where it was sitting up to the frame in mud, brought it home, cleaned off the rattle-can black on the sides and found this beautiful print underneath. It's probably the only one left with it's lettering. Historically priceless, I would think. Thanks guys
