Event Coverage ***Some Pics From Billetproof CA 2010***

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Rusk, Sep 20, 2010.

  1. It was a good year for the show....the weather was killer, probably 20 degrees cooler than last year. As usual, I spent most of my time catching up with friends, drinking beers, and mooching food (thanks to Gambino and the Beatniks who put on the BBQ). I did manage to take some pics early in the morning before the crowds hit, here are the ones I liked...

thanks for posting those photos, thats my green 59 impala and next to my car is my good friend rick orta from vallejo 56 mercury, we have been going to shows together for a long time but we never had photos of our cars together, he still does not have a computer or cell phone so im going to print him a copy of that photo. thanks again for taking that photo. oh yea he also has a all original stock 35 ford 3 window, original paint and still runs, he was going to start building it a few years ago and wants it taildaraager style but decided to buy a new vette first, now he is really bummed out and relizes it was the biggest mistake of his life.

They look like the 35-36 ford, but they look smaller, or is it just me?

    Thanks

Unfortunately, my camera battery died first thing in the morning, so all my pictures were taken when the sun was shinning down on everything, so my apologies for the blown out pictures and weird perspectives, but it was all i could get.

Myself and some buddies drove down friday night from Boise Idaho, it was about a 1,300 mile trip, all the cars did great, we drove the '61 Plymouth, the '47 Chrysler, '62 Chrysler, and trailered the '34 Dodge, '29 Ford, and '59 panhead, we were set up at the Wrecked Metals booth, sellin shirts and goodies.
