Hey HAMBers Damon in Georgia here. I am originally from Virginia but I live 30 miles North of Atlanta Georgia now. I have also lived in DC, and Texas. I have loved old cars and trucks for as long as I can remember. My Dad was always fooling around with them and it caught on at an early age. I have owned several over the years and wish I still had them all! I recently had the opportunity to pick up a 35 Ford pick up, so I jumped on it. that deal took me out of the Harley scene and into my true passion of old trucks. So I headed from GA to VA to pick up a trailer and from there set off for Central PA The truck needs a lot more work than I anticipated, but I got it as a project so I am keeping a positive attitude! My original plan was to have something I could drive and work on at the same time. While loading the truck on the trailer I did not think about the low stance of the truck and proceeded to rip the dual exhaust off the thing as well as bust a manifold! So the journey begins ... a bit early. I decided to leave the truck at my sisters in VA until I could get the manifold fixed. I had access to her garage and an engine lift there! I figured I may as well do what I could afford while the engine was out so a few parts and a lot less cash are slowing the trucks path home. While searching the web for information on the Pollysphere engine the truck has, I ran across this site and became an instant fan! So here I am ...what a great group of helpful and knowledgeable people ..I'm hooked! Thanks for listening! Damon

Thanks Larry ...yeah I like it too. I wish it was a bit more stock from the cab back, but she will do for now.
In case you might want to get back into the HARLEY SCENE, got one that I would trade for that '35 that you don't like from the Cab back. Just a thought, I have 'em every once in awhile. later, firstnomad
Welcome from Rockmart, not too far from you. Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks. Henrietta, being an old Ford truck herself, is particularly impressed with your '35.
Welcome fellow Georgian. Check out Laydrag on here. He lives in Cumming which I think is where you are (Forsyth County) since you said you are 30 Miles North of Atlanta. You know - the one Ophrah had the show about?? Not to be confused with the Forsyth that is south of Atlanta?
