Well I painted my car last night. This is my first car I have ever painted so I think it turned out pretty good for a rookie. I did get a few runs but I hope to get those all. The color is 1937 Ford Washington blue. I can't wait to get it out and put it back together and get it in some sun light for better pics with a better camera. Enjoy!!

    Mike

Pretty cool...That brought back memories from my first paint job...I was 14.I had to learn at an early age, `cause I couldn`t afford to pay someone to do it for me.

LOOKS GOOD! I remmber when I painted my first [in '56] was an A model coupe I was 18. My Dad said to sand er down and fix the bumps, and we will paint it. Hey that sounded good! well I sanded some and made littler bumps. Took it out to where he worked at the paint co. He was a formulater he designed paint, made the formulas, and he custom made my black paint. We were outside and things were right so we sprayed her right next to the building. I was pretty proud of my newly painted A, little bumps and all. Yours looks lot better, and done right.

    X2:) It's a real neat color.

  18. Shiny? What the fuck! In the 50s guys sanded the paint off, and took a piss on their cars to make them rust. Oh, wait, that's what they do now. Looks good, esp. for a first try.

  19. Looks good buddy. Just like an old hot rod.

What ever come of that hot start problem?
