    10 bolt P case.

2nd gear at 5,000 RPM and tires that grip..

I don't have the time or the coin for a 9 or a 12B.. I'm going to rob some parts from another rear end and re gear it.

chopperman, great job on that car! the coolest thing is how involved your son is, I can't wait until my 5 yr old can help out more in my garage. Going for ice cream in the gasser, there's a memory that your kids will never forget. way cool!

    I love your build.

Looks awsome and the best bit is getting your kids involved. I am afraid that I have lost mine to the curse of Xbox.....

I knew it was coming. It was a weak short block. Just wasn't anticipating this soon.

I'm seriously depressed right now. This is like a 5K fix

A few minutes later and looking at there site I see there only doing what you said. Sad, when I lived just north of S.F. valley I bought lots of stuff from them.

Daves vette shop in Citrus heights. he's good and he's cheap. and he's got alot of big block stuff. works at corvette care now and has been building motors for the locals for a long time now. he's very well known around here for motor work.Short or long block, assembled or apart he will get it to you.

Great build! Don't give up on her! One thing I really regret was not including my son in my cars. Because the EX wife was not supportive of the hobby it was always a sore subject in my old household. I should have done things differently. My present girlfriend truly supports this passion of mine and I've never been happier. With that said, you're very lucky/blessed to have a wife that supports your hobby/passion. Give her a big hug from me!
