Oh Shit, you're right!... My bad. That stainless strip on the cowl is a dead give-away.

The Richard Munz Brizio built '32. The magazine article says it's a Bop Top.

both pete henderson's car and carl orr's car have bitch'n tops...got to get the windshield way down to make it work.

    here's another one for ideas
    [IMG]

here's mine as an idea. not saying it's good or anything. i don't have it stretched because i haven't got the rear wood on yet. just some ideas. when the car is done it will look like pete's car with similar new top. this most of these photos have the windshield (2 inch chop) leaned back. I will make another post of it with the windshield not laid back. hope this helps.

it's just two oak bows attached to the pivot bolt with a flat strap of metal coming from each bow. header is also just a piece of oak about 1 x 1 1/2 inch or so.

  13. The Bob Lee top and the Pasadena look is definitely the greatest of all time. The two most critical things are the curve at the opening and more importantly that the top of the side window opening be parallel with the door top. This is where most all tops go wrong, and when you've seen it done right, all others just look wrong!

Now that said, where did you get a Bob Lee top to install on your car??????

[IMG]Here's one that was done back in 1959, stock height with the added side panel called a "gypsy curtain" by the old timer that did it back then.

I don’t think anyone has improved on the lines of the stocker.

Edit: Except with the addition of the gypsy curtain, which I hadn't realized wasn't stock. I really like that.

My last 3 roadsters all had tops. I know one's not a 32 but the top looked really good I think.

Middle bow looks to low to me. Lovely roadster though.
