I think someone repops '56 dog dish hubcaps. I have a perfect set of '57 dog dish if you're interested. PM me.......Mike

  6. I've seen the 55/56 Chevy dog repop's . I'm not sure on the 57 yet , looked at them as well. I like the 58-60 dog dishes and are pretty inexpensive so far( they need work most of them) There was a 55 in the last Rodder's Journal that ran the full Corvette caps and looked pretty darn good. Running 15 x 7 American Racing Torque Thrust "D" with ribbon whites..but always look to change the look. The Nomad runs disc brakes up front so a drum brake rim mostly like won't work ? If anyone know , yeah or neah ! enlighten me !

I switched to 15X7 steelies from Coker. I wanted a larger rim anyways but I needed them to clear the caliper.

Love the look of those caps... I bought a car to get a set of them Tried buying just the caps but the guy wouldn't do it.
It was a running driving 62 Impala
They ended up on my 60 Vette

    Mike,

That car is absolutely beautiful. Its the best El Camino I've ever seen (and I saw it up close!!) - hands down.

Oh, and that love affair you have with black steelies and black walls? I am 100% on board with you. Nothing tougher looking IMO.

    Enjoy the new ride man!

Hey Mike!! Love the new ride! Clean and timeless, a real jaw dropper!

I have not made it up to Ram's Horn for breakfast in a while, as the Michigan "situation" has affected my family.

    Hope all is well!

Hi Dan, the '34 Vicky is still my favorite as well because my Dad bought it in '59, I drove it to high school in '61 and still own it today...............Do you still partake in the website I first met you on a few years ago?.....Mike

Are those armrests out of a bubble top? Very clean!

  21. SMC? Not really. I pop in every once and a while, but not enough Hot Rod stuff to keep me interested. A lot if talk, not much building. I haven't even touched my modeling stuff in months... I just kinda lost interest. Plus, I've been messing with my 38 more lately.

Glad to hear you're working with the '38. It's a nice car. I haven't visited SMC in several years.

I don't know who wouldn't love that. You couldn't ask for a better looking car. No frills, just super clean.

Glad you are getting some mileage out of the pic's Mike. I still have a couple of hundred detail shots if there is any other detail pic's you need/want. Just takes me a while to upload them to my email so I can send them to you.

I have seen Mikes car in person, you need sun glasses to look at out side .like he says 99% done. Outstanding.
Now, to see Mike in person is a very rare sight!!!! He did ride up to Franfenmuth(sp) last night to drop off the cars .that is rare
    Nice car Mike really nice.
