Now that I have the hang of posting photos I will do a few of the cars that have been left in the remote parts of Western Australia.

  3. Are you sure these aren't on Craig's List?
I see a what appears to be a late '40s Olds convert., a'55 Ford and a '49--50 Ford(upside down). The UTE looks pretty cool, and possibly workable.

Sure is in the middle of the bush. Its in the East Pilbara about 1200km north of Perth. I am making my way up there from tomorrow morn and will take some more shots. Talked to the people on the cattle station next door and they said there were some old Chevs on their dump. Next door is 138kms away. Will check them out as well.

  7. Pretty sure that´s an early Humber Super Snipe.

  8. Can smell the dust from here :D FC ute looks pretty solid. Same for the wagon.
The first pic looks like an early 1920s Dodge judging by the rear fender. The small green Jeep looking thing without wheels or doors looks like an Austin Champ. Damn, theres a lot of trash laying around .

Yea a lot of old stuff there. It's on an old cattle station dump and covers a few acres. The really old stuff starts at horse and buggy and goes all the way up to the early 70s. I will be back there in a week or so and will get some more shots. The first shot is out near Mt Augustus just of the side of a station track.

The green truck in post #6 is an International KB series 47-49.

The international KB C-cab truck is cool looking, and those Libyan pics are awesome.

That Olds convertible is worth some good coin if there's much left of it.

Was the Libyan Ford disassembled by people or by an anti-tank mine??

    Doesn't rain much at all.

  21. Is that anywhere near Port Hedland?
    My daughter lives there.
I'll get her to have a look around for me.
SIL drives BP fuel road trains.

  22. So how the hell did one of VAPHEAD,S 16 inch Ford wire wheel spacers end up on a '46 Ford brake drum in the Libian desert ?? :D ??

The green thing in the second post is an Austin Champ, sort of a British "jeep".

About 350km south of Port Hedland. Right on the edge of the Little Sandy Desert. SIL may have even delivered fuel to our mine site out of Nullagine.

Some more photos from my last trip. Did not get all the way up to where I wanted to go, it rained and the roads are closed. I am going back when it dries out.

Last photo is an old dirt track car, has a water pipe roll cage and a hole cut in the roof to get in.

The 4 door with the right front door and hood open is a 46-48 Nash, and the white sedan with no front clip is a 46-48 Ford. That might be where that flathead came from.
