Your Cars at Your Garage, Let's See Em

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Houston Rodder, Aug 30, 2010.

  1. I noticed a picture of Kiwi Kev's gasser project in his garage. It got me to thinkin, some of the greatest car photos are taken of cars in a two car garage. Got any cool shots of yours? Kiwi Kev's is hard to beat.

Awesome garage olskoolrodder, I am digging that Ford sign.

I hate to say this but there is a huge thread with garages and hot rods etc. So just expect some people to make it known.

That's why I haven't posted any photos of my truck. It's a pain. They should make it easier to post photos.

these are a couple shots of my 54 at the Iron Lords club house.

it is a communal shop that a few of us share that was built in 1958 as
an alignment shop. BEAR brand to be exact.

then some where in the 80's became an antique store and remained as such until we took over in 2009.

super awesome building with an arched roof, a pit, 2 bathrooms, an office and an upstairs that has a bed and cabinets made into the wall.

I am rather fortunate as is fellow Iron Lord Skeeter as we both live with in a 2 minute walk of the shop :D

    yes folks life is good!

here is a shot out front
    54 001.jpg

the rest are random shots of my 54 in the shop.
I will try and get some better ones tonight

Excuse me for hijacking your thread, HR...just let me give these guys a quick pointer or two.

Pretty easy, guys. To post thumbnail pics: Click "Go Avanced". Look toward bottom of page, and click "Manage Attachments". A window will appear click "Browse". A new window will appear. Click "pictures" to bring up your picture file. Find the pic you want to post. Either double left click the pic or right click the pic then click the "open" button bottom-right. Now click the "upload" button on the "Manage Attachments" page. Pic is now on your post. Add some text before or after pic. Maybe click on "Preview Post" button to see how your post looks. Then click "Submit Reply" button. Done.

To post larger pics: Register on Photobucket or other image-hosting site. Load pics there from you picture-file. Now you can simply click and paste from there to your post. Two tips: Before adding pic to your post, resize image to "large" or smaller using the image-hosting options.(experiment) Also, if you ever remove the pic from your image-hosting site, it will disappear from your post. You can always reload onto the site though, and it will reappear on your post.

Now...I feel I should post a pic or two for this thread. Here ya go, HR. No real garage...how about the barn? '48 Chevy coupe, (just sold) '53 Chevy pickup, '29 Ford roadster, and '47 Hudson coupe. The '37 Chevy coupe you see part of was sold last fall. Kinda crappy cell-phone pics. Note to self: Purchase digital camera.

    ...almost a two car garage.

If we move all the tools and equipment around, we can just squeeze both cars in there...with a shoe-horn.

When you reply just scroll down to "manage attachments" and click on Browse then find the photo in your computer (it is in there isn't it?) then click on open then click on upload (yah you gotta upload it to the hamb)...

Oh wait that's too many steps for some people....
