You could seriously make a living saving street rods that are out dated and returning them to proper tradition. Outstanding!

    Very impressive!
I can't believe you could do all of this w/ the engine & trans in the car.

Got any close ups of that heater mount?

  16. What a piece of shit, you guys should scrap it anyway!

Evil Step Dad's car is gonna be one of them understated detailed machines I love the most. Lots of people will walk right by it heading toward the next shock rod, but there will be a few, with the eye for detail, that will stop and stare (for a long time).... Loving it bro!!

P.S. One time I asked Jay to brake / roll me a simple transmission tunnel... dam you should see what I got! ;)

    Wow! Thanks!

I really have enjoyed the project, its nice to build a dream car on someone elses dime. To bad its just a 32......:D

I'll try to grab some pics of the horn button and heater mount today. Most everything is broken down or paint and powdercoat so nows the time I guess.

Here's a few more pics of some of the finished parts.

The screws in the firewall arent the correct ones, it gets some nifty oval headed stainless ones like this.

Its really a sense of accomplishment to take something nobody wants, that is barely salvageable and turn it into a car that you can give to a teenage girl.
Really, I'm amazed. Thats unbelievable work.

  23. that firewall is something special! I'd like to see a step-by-step just for that alone.

I would love to see a tech article on doing a firewall like that. Excellent.
