We had the pleasure of turning a rare Stude (only 2200 convertibles built in '47) into a driver. This particular car is family owned , owned now by John & Gabby Gordon, was bought new by his mother in-law , restored by his brother in law & given to Gabby. As it did not go , steer or stop in stock form John had us do some rework.
We installed a 350 700R4 combo along with a 9" rear & a Must II IFS. We were careful to keep as much of the original look as possible, Wheelsmith even had the original clips so we could use the original hub caps.
The amazing features are , curved 1 piece w/shield , electric power top & a start system that is a clutch pedal operated starter button. In original use you switch on the ign, depress the clutch pedal , this not only hits the starter with the clutch disengaged but also put on the brakes for hill starts 1947 technology. What a great car to drive now.

Very nice! I like that you have made modifications that will make the car operate well yet have retained the stock look. Good job!
