I just bought this 36 Plymouth Touring sedan about a month ago, after getting a tip about some old cars that were in some tall weeds behind a fence. I was able to buy it pretty cheap, and I messed with the flathead enough to get it started, and drove it around the yard for a few days just for the hell of it. I have just gotten started working on it for serious the past few weeks.

This is the thread that tells about finding the car, with pictures of the other car that was in those weeds, a 1942 Dodge Business Coupe, and pics of a 1937 Dodge pickup, which is the vehicle I stopped to look at in the first place.

Has '39 Chevy headlights, wipers moved to the cowl, hidden door hinges, and I suggest you move the firewall back as much as you can, you'll appreciated the extra space under the hood.

  16. I took these pics at a hot rod show in christchurch, new zealand a year or so ago.
    Love the art deco trim.

The Raven started out with a 39 Dodge chassis and running gear. Arthur's brother Chuck rolled over the 39 sedan and Arthur ended up with a chassis. One day in 1950 he decided to build himself a car on top of that chassis. Nine years later he ended up with the Raven.

The car still has the same chassis. It floats like a boat going down the road with it's bias ply tires. A blast to drive.

Heres my babies, 33 plymouth roadster, 35 plymouth 5 window, 39 dodge 3 window. I haven't even got the 39 home yet, lol.
All three are australian bodied cars, the 33 by "holden" and the other two by TJ Richards.

Here's a 37 D5 coupe that I just got after a year long search. I missed out on a nice one on ebay last year (now belongs to burnzy37) and got a little obsessed afterwards. The search has ended, now just need to find a banjo wheel for it.

Here are some of my 34 Coupe project pictures, as found, staged, and current with a 315 Poly motor and 4 speed. I found this one East of Carson City, Nevada. Bought it from a retired L.A. cop who has owned it since 1968.
