Here's an eclectic mix of wire wheeled vehicles. Most are HAMB-friendly, one misses by just a year.

'35 wires on a '35 are boring. I'm cleaning up these caps for mine.

But then again...... maybe I will just run black wires after reading this thread. They just look so sweet.

question, I got a pair of 35 ford 16 inch wires. I thought they would just bolt onto the front drums I have.. I thought I had a set of 40 ford front drums but now thing I might have something slightly later as the hub of the wire wheel will not fit over the drums, so the studs are not even going thru the rim.. someone said my bendix drums might be a 50's PU?? not sure how to tell

so how to you get early wires to bolt on.. (I have a 5 x 5.5 pattern drums

I plan on running '35 Wires on my '33 eventually. 7.00 and 6.00 tires for a typical 40's slight rubber rake.

Great thread Larry. I've been thinking about a set of wires and bias plies for mine just so I can change the look from time to time.
