Here's mine, a 1958 392 Hemi A-casting, Hilborn fuel injection and aluminium heads, good for 500 hp. It's going in a 41 Plymouth Coupe. Here is a video of the initial start up. Hope you'll enjoy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bynIPFTZK9Q

i don't own it but there's a 50/50 chance it will end up in my roadster for bonneville next year, we might just rebody and shorten the lakester that it's in and run as bfrmr instead, as i'm not sure my balls are big enough to run it in a short wheelbase car.
kb block, bae heads, etc, it's detuned to about 3500 hp right now :)

that weslake small block is absolutely bitchin, my small block may be nothing special to look at but its propelled my street driven A pickup to an 11.04 at 123 mph so i think its pretty badass

haha I wish it was mine. belongs to hot rod packard ( I believe thats his screen name) here on the hamb. sorry but you will have find him for details.

  5. You better get a big pair of brass fucking balls to run that in a standard length roadster class . . . though I'd love to watch yah :D I can't imagine how tough it would be to obtain enough traction to "glue" it to the salt - you best be the "teflon man" for this bad dog!

the guy who owns it is probably one of the most experienced at driving really high hp short wheel base cars at the lakes so he'd probably do most of the driving but i'm stupid enough to give it a try if we do it. the smarter thing for us would be to redo his lakester into a rear engine roadster as the a blown fuel record is still an open class. at this point we're still in the talking stage but either way that engine should be running in something at bonneville next year.

Rick Schnell's blown Ardun in his '29 Model A sedan has to be included as one wild motor. And it is driven on the street...

  13. chainsaw - FYI ... Bass' 331ci Hemi-powered Coupe is a '29 Model A (with a '32 header/windshield) ... but you're right about one thing ... it's certainly bad ass!

  15. OK I have to say prior to making any toher statements that are some exceptional motors on here and you should all be as proud as a new daddy.

Now I know that this is a little off topic but I'm feeling a little wierd today almost germish actually. Anyway I was looking at the title of this thread and being slightly dislexic I got to wondering. What is an ass mill and how would you know if its bad?

1650 Cubic Inch, P51 Mustang, Rolls Royce V12. Making about 2000hp and period correct for that car.

Thats a winner in my book. Most bad ass mill by far!
