subscribed. bonus points for vid with sound. We oughta have awards/honors for visual (ie. deathsdoorstep), output, and just plain evil sounding.....

  6. You do!!!

...I'm not super big on a SBC but you shouldn't discount them. They can look killer with all the right goodies and I know they can perform pretty impressively. Give the little guys a chance:D

When I think of a Bad Ass mill I would have to say it should be a combination of all the above and most importantly the performance of the Mill is what ultimately will make it the Baddest ASS Mill on the HAMB ............IMHO :) Because, what good is it if it is all show and no go. Like my pops always says "Chrome don't get you home"

Well, as the old saying goes--"This thread is useless without pictures."

Here's mine. Do I think it's the baddest thing here? Nope, my ego isn't that big. But maybe it'll bring out some of the stout engines.

We have 9 second Model A's, twin turboed Ford pickups, Anglia's that are in the process of getting twin turbos, blower motors of all shapes and sizes, Bonneville cars, drag cars, etc.
    Let's see em!

This one is basically an early LS-6 with Brodix heads, Comp Cams roller set up, and a NOS Big Shot nitrous setup (advertised up to 400 hp) that will probably never get turned on. I don't like nitrous, but I figured I'd put it on there "Just in case". It's for a street car.

  28. I know full well my Pontiac isn't the baddest mill...or even the baddest Pontiac mill on the HAMB but it should be plenty strong for my light car.
57, 347 bored 1/8 inch to 370 cu in. [see? It's just a little guy] Has a set of Jahns pop-ups with a late pair of #46 heads..all new valves [5 angle valve job]springs, retainers etc etc with screw in 7/16ths studs, guide plates and hardened push rods, all new rockers. balls etc.
I'm using an old factory hydraulic racing cam, the #6 cam sometimes refered to as the "886" because of the casting number..used in the 56 dual quad 285 HP nascar engine and carried over for the '57 fuel injection engines.
Has forged steel 1957 crank and forged steel rods..rotating assembly balanced.
Edelbrock P-65 intake with 2, 600 Edelbrock carbies. Had an old mallory dual point rebuilt and converted to electronic ign...should be fun. But not too badass to drive on the street with a 5 speed and Winters quickchange.
