To look at my house, you'd never know a car guy lived there.... The shop is another story....... It is set up as a 1950's street scene
It's easy when you're single and don't have to take anyone else's style or feelings into consideration when decorating. Wait till you see my dining room table and my kitchen island which are both in the process of being constructed.
my ol' lady severely limits me to the garage. how ever I think im actually breaking her down on making one of the spare bedrooms in to a rat fink room.
I used two 2" exhaust pipes to build my railings on my front porch to make the city happy and my house to "code"
20 years ago when I moved into my house I took out the handrail that went down into the basement so we could get some stuff down there and I never put it back up. An exhaust pipe handrail is on my list of stuff to do!
Outside a shelf full of little pages and some other books, there is really nothing. And that's not some mandate from my wife... it's just how it is. So I guess my house is "house" themed.
Where did you get those!?!? They're freakin awesome! And a concerned citizen reminder that not all Canadians are friendly
Denise Wins! super-bitchen flatware. be careful on the heat output of your bulbs. ask me how i found that one out!
No pics, but my living room coffee table used to be a 6-71, two carter competition 750's with Mr. gasket stacks underneat a 2' round piece of 1/2" glass. Then I got married.......
in one of my spare rooms i have a 30-31 model a sedan and 30-31 model a truck cab these are took a part. in the other room i have a 1000 plus model cars..ill try to get pics later
WOW, and my wife says I have to much garage stuff in the house. Denise you are over the top, you win.
I want to live at Denise's! How much for rent? LOL I have my "man cave", it is just our family room, but I am heading towards a 50's drive-in theater theme.
Fidgeter- I too used to have a triumph in my house at all times! I posted earlier about my house being clean and well decorated, that has always been true. But until recently, there was always space for whatever Triumph I had "done" just inside the door. I've just always looked at bikes as more portable "art". I have to admit, that when the girlfriend moved in two years ago, for the first year I was able to brag about still having a bike on my coffee table in the side room. Some how in October I found myself bringing the '53 Triumph out to the garage...
Well it's kinda like this. The house is my wifes and the garage is mine. I have small concessions in the family room. The 2007 Bob McCoy "The Real McCoy" Award. A signed Metal Milner coupe, Small trophy's my cars have won at local events.
