Mine would be my Dad, like he was when he still knew me, my Mom even though she used to sit behind me and pick at my hair and ask if I was going to get it cut, and my nephew Mikey, who was only 2 years younger than me, we were like brothers that didn't get along all of the time. Dad was a car guy, & helped me get the '46 so we could work on it together. When I was growing up I would watch him take stuff apart on our cars and fix them. Mom encouraged my art and creativity. Mike died way too soon. All have been gone now for a long time, and I really miss them.

I would trade all of my hotrods for one more ride with Dad. I have his 33 pickup that he got in 1953, he chopped and channeled it and then started a business and never worked on it again. I got it from him in 2002 and got it going in august of 2008 and took Dad for his first ride in the truck on his 81st birthday, 55 years after he first got it. He passed away a few months later.... miss him every day..........

  8. My '29 DODGE will be built in my Dad's name , Gordon's Gift, as he gave me the abilities I have to build .Dad passed away 4years ago so it will be my way of cruising with him anywhere we go. But I would trade it for just a few more moments with him. Rob

My grandpa... He died a week before I got my first old car 12 years ago. He got me into old cars when I was very young. I would give anything just to cruise a couple miles with him.

  16. I am with you guys who would cruise with your dads.It would be with mine or my mom.Miss them both as I get older; after all, if it weren't for them, I would never have had a chance to cruise in the first place.
For now I will enjoy cruising with my son or my dog.

Probably with Incan ruler Moctezuma II.

I'd give him a ride through the South American jungle so that he'd think I was a god, then I'd warn him about Hernan Cortes and the Spanish Conquistadors.

"Hey Mocte, these dudes will be coming in ships - they're not gods. In fact, when they get off the boat, go ahead and kill them. Then keep doing your thing as as far as astronomy goes. You guys are on the right track and your calendar is pretty damn accurate."

Then I'd be like "Hey, bury some gold right here in this secret spot or I'll blot out the sun with the smoke from my magical chariot." Then I'd go there today and dig it up so I could use the gold to fund the building of a time machine so I could go back in time and cruise with Incan ruler Moctezuma II. I'd give him a ride through the South American jungle so that he'd think I was a god...

My Grandfather. I never met him because he died 2 years before I was born. Lung Cancer. Every one in my family says I look just like him and that I would have loved him more than any of my cousins/family my age. He had a killer 1965 Corvette and a station wagon (had 5 kids) and he flew helicopters for special forces. I wouldn't have cared if we had gone in either car, I just want to meet him.

    Second would be Ed Roth.
