Here are a few photos from the Orientals Car Club race at New England Dragway on July 25th 2010. The day started off sunny and hot, but changed to clouds later in the day. They did get the full day of racing in with NO RAIN... [IMG]IN.

[IMG] The Country Girl F/C was in the display area. There is a nice article in the current issue of Rod & Kulture Magazine, about the restoration of this car.

[IMG] Push Rods member... Pete Dayotas 1935 Chevy is a real strong running car. It reminds me of old Blown Hearse that ran in the mid sixties.

[IMG] Joe Sforza's awesome new dragster was a crowd favorite. Joe started this project last February, with a Brad Studley dragster frame. With the help of Scott Grecgo and Matt Wood, they had this car up and running by June. They have already made two trips up to Winterport ME. races.

It was a perfect day up there. A lot of very nice cars showed up. Those two blown/injected 33 Willys were bad a$$ ! Had to leave early to go to a B-day party . Thanks for posting the pics. I'll try to get a few pictures up later also.

Thanks! I am envious of the more period door cars that run in the midwest/east. All the gassers I've seen at the west coast meets just look like pro-mods.

[IMG] This 40 Ford could have fit in well with the show cars, but was making passes all day long.
