I would like to cruise with Thomas Jefferson just to get his take on today's government.

My pop and kids are all around so I can rule that out as I do it all the time......

Lot's of good a ride with Hitler would do, I can't speak German. Heck even the license plate game wouldn't be any fun. He couldn't read the states.

With yourself some point in the past is a great idea but that's taken.

On a summer evening with Charlie, Tex and the girls would be for some story telling but I'd be too worried that it still turned out bad.

I'd have to go with Michelle from High School. I never could get her in a car alone.

There is a common theme in this thread, its people we have lost in life.

I know of two I would ask for specifically:

My late Uncle Johnny Parks, who got me really interested into cars, and saw what you can do if you try. Had a 32 Tudor back in the 70's with a full race 327 and Jag front and rear chromed. Lost him in 1983.

His brother in law Jack Moriarty, one of my dearest friends who we lost 8 years ago.

My late friend Bruce Norman Dinkfelt, who never did get his 70 Coronet together, lost 7 years ago.

And my oldest brother, John, who we lost 1 1/2 years ago.

In all fairness, I did enjoy them while we had the chance. Did alot of things car related with all of them. So in truth, I have nothing but fond memories and no regrets of things not done or said.

Its my job to carry on the traditions, build a few more cars, help a few more build theirs, offer advice and try to live up to what these guys were all about.

We dont get to decide how long we get to keep people in our lives, that goes to a higher power. Enjoy them while you can, tell them how you feel, dont forget them.

Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil.
For the Lord is my shephard, I shall not want.

My Dad, I'd like to go back in time and drive around the Great Ashfield B-17 base in England in a Jeep and see what he saw 1943-45.

OK. I'm going to get a little sappy on you guys. I would have to say my oldest brother, his life was cut short at the age of 19 in a car wreck,I was only 7 at the time but I knew this man was what cool was all about. ducktail,59 ford conv., and an H-D Knucklehead! I know he would be right here building and cruising with me and my other brother.

    KIRK!

We could listen to his 20 "dick in a box Bing Bong" song list, talk about cruising, theme songs, man caves, steam cars, corvairs, dirty garages, bumper stickers, and the greatest time to have lived in america.

    Yeah,

    That would be sweet.

Tom Waits....... Im not sure I would want to be stuck in a car with him for very long, but the guy is wack, and wack is a blast. I like off the wall people that make me laugh. I bet something crazy would happen. Like a fight or something, or something crazy with broads involved.

Billy Gibbons..... I bet that would be cool.

Everyone keeps saying their Dad, but..... me and my Dad go do stuff together every once and a while, and he makes me want to jump out of a moving car.
