Dixie fried 2010

If you pull the Starlight drive in web site up it gives the date's for drive invasion but it does'nt say anything about the dixie fried car show!!! however 10/10/10 sound's nice to me.

 

this show is also my fovorite show, and i host the march meet, swap meet and hot rod show in dalton ga. and the show & go's at paradise drag strip(a quick plug, this saturday july 3rd, in calhoun ga. great show, don't miss it) i won't step on josh or any of the other members of the atlanta road kings toes, but i would like to see this show go on, if the road kings don't want to do the show any more, the north ga. hot rods would like to talk to the road kings and the drive in and see if we can keep this show going for years to come. thanks b.b. brown 706-278-2846 or 706-260-8131

Actually there was a little vintage skin flick action around 3 am last year, i rather enjoyed it

 

Who cares about the drive in.Have it where some one wants it.I kinda like the Paradise drag strip idea.There are a ton of places around North Ga to have a two day show.Dont try anything in Cobb co. though,those flat tops over there will be on you like stink on well you know.It is easy for me to say this since I have never and do not intend to put on something like this.Just some ideas I had sitting at work.

 

Actually the date for Drive Invasion has been on the Starlight Site since May 1st, was on every Monsterbash Poster, 5000 handbills and website, and on the facebook page since mid May as well.

It is 10/10/10 this year and will continue to be in October.

There is no Dixie Fried at Drive Invasion this year.
That is confirmed. I will contacting a new Club about coordinating the Show.

I'm curious as to what the show is now: is it still bands and B-movies until morning, just without a designated car show? Are you still looking for the same crowd that showed up in years past? What kind of vehicles are you hoping to fill the movie lot up with?

I think some people are fuzzy on where "Drive Invasion" ends and "Dixie Fried" begins.
