Just who is planning on going and will there be a HAMB meet ??

 

Deuce Roadster were going just right down the road for us an is a nice 5 day break from work,The Rod Kings will host the HAMB meet & great again this year.We will be located as soon as you come thru the main gate take left at first road around fairgrounds we are under shade trees HAMB banner & Rod Kings banner will be up to the right.Had some good ole KY moonshine last year for sippin hope to have some more for 2010 look forward to see everybody.

Go west on 265 to the dixie highway take a left (south towards ft knox) on dixie highway about a mile on the right is a dive called O'brians Bar . Its behind the chevy dealer. Dam good fish and cold beer. Not catfish . Good wite fish.

yeah, we're going. It's been 90-98 Degrees w/90% humidity here for a couple of weeks so I should be ready.

 

Been going since Peoria[not every one]and as always ,expect about 10% to be of particular interest,and 10% of those to be really excited about.Sounds pretty picky ,but still over 100 cars.And you have to search the grounds to find your favorites. If you get tired ,or hot,the trade show is worth the trip. Count me in.

Well I waited till the last minute to send in my money, just got my registration back a few days ago. my number is under 7000 so I guess there's a lot of pissed off people not going this year. I know I was one of them, but I renewed my membership because my other half wanted to see our friends in York. (got to keep her happy)
So now I'll drive on down to Louisville. If by chance I don't like what I see, I'll do a few laps inside the building say hi to my freinds and hit the road. Won't be the 1st time I walked out of that show.
Hoping for the best and too everyone driving, have a safe trip !

 

Maybe ... but things can change in 3 months.

1 ) some folks now may not can go who had plans to attend
2 ) some members may have " MELLOWED OUT " or reconsidered since saying they were not going.
3 ) some members may be going to be in the Louisville area ... but not for that event. I know one guy who has a wedding to attend on Saturday afternoon .. but will be in town Thursday to Sunday.

 

I will be there in the boogie van for my first one ever. I still havent been home yet lol

 

jernlee, you are absolutely right about obriens fish. Ate there friday afternoon. Best fish anywhere!
