OK WELL AFTER DITCHING A FEW UNWANTED PARTS, WE STARTED STRIPPING THE CAR TO METAL TO START MAKING OUR REPAIRS. HERE IS A REVIEW OF THE CAR AND THE THINGS WE ARE FIXING. THE PLAN IS TO BUILD A VERY CLEAN CUSTOM. THIS CAR WILL BE PAINTED GLOSSY BLACK, CHOPPED ETC.

Hey buddy, so if u measure the widest point at the bottom of the door it should be 31" if u take the center point if that at the 15.5" and measure up, this one was 11.75". Hope this helps out.

Thanks alot guys, the kind words mean so much to me. The body is pretty nice but does have its issues that we will be taking care of. Im really excited about this build, i look foward to working on this car everyday i go to the shop.

This is for a customer and not sure if the fellow he got it from is on the hamb or not. I did meet the guy he got it from and he was a cool dude. The car had come from long beach ca.

  21. Wow, thats a pretty clean starting point. They don't come much straighter these days. I'll be following your build for sure, you guys do nice work.

I bet those holes in floor by the B pillar were for a rollbar at some point.

here i made some boxing plates and shaped them to fit the frame with the least amount of stress or tension. both ends of the boxing plates will be rounded to give them a finished look.

thank you, i was also thinking they didnt want to unbolt the body so they cut the floor instead to get the body off.

yeah, thats crazy! were gonna cut out the bracing and make a hole new piece to put in. at some points it was warped almost a 1/2 deep and then they grinded everything but the weld. it will be nice and clean when were done.
