I need a shitload of aluminum (I've read on here that 3003-H14 50" or 5052 40" is best) - for my floor, front/rear bulkheads, door skins, trunk floor, etc.. 5/6 sheets? In England I used to buy 8x4' sheets with the blue plastic protective film on it - but I'd settle for any sheet without the film I guess. I haven't been here long enough to find the source for this kinda stuff - who can I call or where can I go to pickup? I'm in McDonough, but I'll go anywhere. Tudor, Stevie G, BigMikeC, hotrodwalt, GreenMtnBoy, PBRmeASAP - I just know one of you guys knows the answer
I've found a lot of it bolted to little steel post on the side of the road. Makes great floor boards.
Check with"T W Metals",located on the frontage road in Forest Park, and Tom's Ornamental Iron Works, near the airport. I also saw yesterday a "Metals Supermarket" or "Metals Warehouse" truck pass me going the opposite direction. That was the first time for that one,and I do not know their location.

I get all my steel and aluminum from Metro Metal Works in McDonough. Here's their info: Metro Metal Works 3051 Commerce Pl McDonough, GA , 30253-6800 Phone: 770-954-1159
wow! right under my goddamn nose. Thanks Curtis!! I'll be jumping in the car right after lunch to go visit...
I used to get mine from a metal supply warehouse (ontario metal) but was turned onto a roofing supply company. 4x10 sheets were half the cost & they had colors too. Check your area for commercial roofing places
Still good info for other buys living in the Atlanta area. Took me forever to find a place to buy metal stock. The metal supermarket in Doraville is great... they also have "drops" and cut-offs they sell for scrap weight prices. -Brad
