I'm a bad speller too (right-brained). Thanks for posting this thread Stefan ...any new progress photos?
Thanks for the coments I were outside and blasted the inside of the trunklid before noon today Happy Midsommer /Stefan
I have made a steering wheel The wheel need some more polishing and i must put in the holder to the hornring and the thing to return the turn signal /Stefan
Now that is pretty damn cool...I see that you even cut the indents in the cross-bars! Did you machine an indent for when the horn ring gets depressed as well? Looks nice Stefan!
The stuff you are building for this car....the kustom work and the rust repair never cease to amaze me..very inspiring !!
Thanks for the coments I sand blasted the outside of trunklid Here have i taken chemical rust remover on the blasted aeria I have get the blaster to work better with a extra big airtank aprox 1000 to 1500 liters /Stefan
Good stuff. Is the sand heating the metal and warping it any. From the pictures it looks fine...........Maybe its the application method. How are you doing it so I can copy your method?
stefan, that wheel is amazing, awesome work...and the colon..well thats the end part of your ass.where ever you put the steeringcolon this shoebox is going to be bitchin.
I have no problems wraping on my things yet but when i blasted the roof in the blaster box on work it wrapt little so i have to blaster the other side more to get it back /Stefan
Thanks for the coments I have blasted drivers door to day Her's the door with chemical rust remover /Stefan
Soon as posible. But earlyes next summer if i have time to build. My wife says that be a garage widow is not so funny. /Stefan
Now have i blased the passenger door too Next thing i will do is weld gromet holder for the steering shaft to the body and repair some new holes in the doors /Stefan
Just tell her what I tell mine.... I say I'm married to my work and she is my mistress. I got that from some movie, it sounded clever....she still doesn't think its funny either.
Looks good Stefan I was wondering how progress was coming! I'll be posting pics of mine in a few weeks...
i just found this thread and have stopped all semblance of work and continue to read and re-read... i am left speechless... i hope my 49 that i just picked up has half the inspiration...
Damn. Wish I had the fabrication skills this guy has. Love the steering wheel. Jealous, seriously. I'm lucky if my shit just holds together...
Thanks for the coments I weld in the steeringshaft grometholder. I post more next time i work on the shoebox. /Stefan
